Fleet Monitoring: overview
Fleet Monitoring is the Mative Cloud Things Connector module for companies that manage a fleet of vehicles, such as rental companies, car sharing operators and corporate fleets. From a single page you see where every vehicle is, what it is doing, which alarms need attention and which deadlines are approaching. From there you open the full record of each vehicle.
The data comes from the GPS trackers installed in the vehicles. Mative Data Bridge carries it to the platform, and the module updates it live.
Who it is for
- Fleet and rental managers, who follow the fleet day by day and handle alarms.
- Operators and back office staff, who check trips, deadlines and vehicle records.
Private owners of a single vehicle use the Drive module instead.
How to open it
- Get your Account ID: contact us and we will enable access to the platform for your company.
- Open the Fleet Monitoring dashboard from Dashboard. If it is set as your home page, it opens straight after sign-in.
The module interface is in Italian. In this guide, labels are written as they appear on screen, followed by their English meaning in parentheses.
Structure of the module

| Device and geofences (Dispositivo) | Tracker status, command history, battery health, allowed area and forbidden zone |
| Statistics (Statistiche) | Usage, km, alarms, battery health and a table for every vehicle |
Vehicle status
The same status appears in the list, on the map and in the vehicle header. It is calculated from the latest data sent by the tracker.

| In marcia (moving) | Ignition on and speed above 3 km/h. The speed is shown next to the status. |
| Acceso, fermo (on, stopped) | Ignition on, vehicle not moving |
| Parcheggiato (parked) | Ignition off |
| Non aggiornato (not updated) | No data from the tracker for more than 12 hours (default value) |
Rental status
Each vehicle can also have a rental status. You set it from the vehicle header, and it appears in the list and in the statistics.

Vehicles with an open critical or major alarm move to the top of the fleet list, with a red border.
